On Friday 7th March 2014, we had an impromptu visit from West Sussex Fire Service. In their quest to maintain their fitness levels whilst their gym undergoes a two week renovation, they chose to sweat it out with a game of volleyball in our sports hall.
I couldn’t let the opportunity slip by for a quick photoshoot, but felt it was only polite to let them have some privacy whilst they played their game! The firemen very kindly posed for a photograph after their game, and they also educated and entertained some children from our After School Club, giving them a demonstration of their fire equipment and letting them get a close-up view of the fire engine.
Thank you West Sussex Fire Service for being so generous with your time, it was a pleasure to have you at the Holbrook Club.
