We are pleased to announce the next stage of the re-opening of the club with 3G courts, tennis, squash, and snooker available from 10am Monday 3rd August. You need to make sure you follow the booking and attendance rules specific to each activity all of these are based on rules set out by the government and governing bodies for each sport, please ensure you follow them. If you are a non-member and haven’t booked with us before you will find a video on how to set up a quick add membership so you will be able to book and pay for classes.
Return to 3G Bookings Rules – General
The following rules apply for booking and using the club’s 3G courts.
We ask that all members observe the rules in addition to any pre-agreed club rules, these rules are NOT negotiable
- If you feel unwell / have any cold symptoms / are displaying COVID symptoms / have had contact with anyone with COVID DO NOT ATTEND THE CLUB
- If you exhibit COVID symptoms after attending the club then please notify the club immediately
- All courts must be booked and paid for online, we will not accept any walk-ins
- It is the responsibility of the person booking the court to pay all court fees due at the time of booking
- Bookings can not be made by anyone under the age of 16. Bookings for under 16s must have an adult in attendance to supervise any bookings that do not will be refused entry and no refund will be given.
- Do not arrive any earlier that 5 minutes before your booking
- Access to the courts is via the side gate in the car park and a member of the gym team will give you access
- Sanitize your hands regularly whilst at the club with particular focus before and after being on a court. Sanitising station is available just outside the 3G court
- Please arrive at the club in your kit ready to play we have limited changing and shower facilities available so are advising members to avoid using them
- No borrowing / hiring / sharing of equipment
- Please bring your own bottle of water
- Please DO NOT congregate as a group around the courts
- Please follow government social distance guidelines whilst visiting the club at all times
- Maximum of 10 players per court at one time
- Avoid making contact with other players
- Handling of the same ball by different players during a session is discouraged.

Return to Squash Rules – General
We will be introducing a phased return to the squash at the Holbrook club aligning to both government guidelines & England Squash
As and when the government and England Squash change the ruling, we will amend the club rules
We ask that all members observe the rules in addition to any pre-agreed club rules, these rules are NOT negotiable
- If you feel unwell / have any cold symptoms / are displaying COVID symptoms / have had contact with anyone with COVID DO NOT ATTEND THE CLUB
- If you exhibit COVID symptoms after attending the club then please notify the club immediately
- All courts must be booked and paid for online, we will not accept any walk-ins
- It is the responsibility of the member booking the court to pay all court fees due at the time of booking
- Do not arrive any earlier that 5 minutes before your booking
- Only one court will be in play each session and the courts will be alternated in use to allow appropriate cleaning and ventilation time
- Access to the courts is via the side gate in the car park and a member of the gym team will issue you with a token
- Sanitize your hands regularly whilst at the club with particular focus before and after being on a squash court. Sanitising stations are available as you enter the gym and by the squash courts.
- No guests
- Please arrive at the club in your kit ready to play (with the exception of court shoes) we have limited changing and shower facilities available so are advising members to avoid using them
- No borrowing / hiring / sharing of equipment
- Please bring your own bottle of water & store at the front of the court. The water fountain will not be in use
- Please DO NOT congregate as a group around the squash courts
- Please DO NOT wipe your hands / sweat on the walls
- Please follow government social distance guidelines whilst visiting the club at all times
- Please wipe down the door handles / door knobs with bacterial sprays provided as you leave the courts and place the used blue towel in the bin located in the corridor
- Club night is currently on hold pending further government guidelines
- The normal game of squash CANNOT be played by players from different households
- Squash Solo practice on court is allowed
- Squash “SIDES” can be played allowing two players from different households to play on the same court but observing social distancing for more information follow this link: https://www.englandsquash.com/backtosquash
- Members of the same household CAN play a normal game of squash
- NO DOUBLES
- Maximum of 4 players in the squash court area at one time, 2 players on court (Max), two potentially waiting in the gallery area awaiting court walk on
- Handling of the same ball by different players during a session is discouraged. A new boxed ball should be used wherever possible and only touched by one player.
- No squash leagues

- If you exhibit COVID symptoms after attending the club then please notify the club immediately

- Access to the snooker rooms is via the side gate in the car park and a member of the gym team will issue you with a token
- Sanitize your hands regularly whilst at the club. A Sanitising station is located between snooker room B and A.
- No guests
- No borrowing / hiring / sharing of equipment
- Please follow government social distance guidelines whilst visiting the club at all times
- Please wipe down the door handles / door knobs / snooker balls / sides of tables and any equipment you have used at the end of your session with the bacterial sprays provided
- Maximum of two people per snooker room.
