Gym Refurbishment 2024

We have some exciting news – it’s something you have all been so patiently waiting for. We are delighted to announce that The Holbrook Club Gym will be having a facelift. Our existing equipment, as you know, is past it’s best and it is now time to freshen things up. The cardio equipment will be Precor and the strength equipment is Technogym. In addition to new gym equipment we are also getting new Stages Spin Bikes.
While the refurbishment is happening the gym will be closed – however, do not panic, during this time we will be providing a temporary gym in our Hiit Studio and attached rooms which are accessible from the car park. In order to ensure we have sufficient space we will be using a booking system – similar to that used during COVID. Bookings can be made online via our website www.theholbrookclub.co.uk or using the mobile friendly link. If you do not have access to our online booking please do e-mail office@theholbrookclub.co.uk and this will be arranged for you. Each booking will be on the hour for an hour. Bookings are made as part of the classes option online under Gym.
The available gym hours will be as follows:-
Friday 13th September
Main gym open 6am – 9.00am
Main gym closes 9.00am
Temporary gym open 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th September
Temporary gym open 8:00am – 6:00pm
Monday 16th to Friday 20th September
Temporary gym open 6:00am to 8:00pm
Saturday 21st/Sunday 22nd September
Temporary gym open 8:00am – 6:00pm
Monday 23rd September
Temporary gym open 6.00am – 10:00am
Tuesday 24th September
New gym opens 2:00pm
Please do bear with us during this refurbishment, we do not anticipate any issues however your patience and understanding is appreciated.
The gym doors will be reinstated from 1st October 2024 so please do ensure you bring your membership card with you at all times. If you have lost or mislaid your card please visit reception where a new one will be issued to you for £2.50. Any cards that no longer work will be replaced free of charge.
We will be inviting everyone to attend a new induction which will show you how to use the equipment, we can also arrange new programs so please do speak with an instructor when you visit.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back into the gym, it’s been a long time coming.
